Jimmie H. Deal Jimmie H. Deal, was born Sept. 29, 1928 in Chatsworth, Ga. to Tennie & Aaron W. Deal, Sr. and passed away Dec. 24, 1995 in his home, surrounded by his family and with the spirit of the Lord, at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 25 days. Jim grew up in Dalton, Ga., the 6th of 9 children. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1946 and proudly served his country for over 20 years until his retirement at Tinker AFB in 1967. He then worked for the Postal Computer Center in OKC for the next 20 years. After his second retirement, he became general manager for Whinery's Off Airport Parking for the next 6 years. In 1993, he retired to his '75 Caddy and the Tinker AFB Golf Course. Jim married Pauline Warren (Hack) on Jan. 17, 1950 in Richland, S.C. Jim lived his life honoring his wife and family, his country, and his good name. He will be remembered by all variously as a fair boss; a coach and mentor; a good friend; a handsome and charming man with a quick smile; and a straight-faced teller of tall tales. He will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband, a lion-hearted father, and an old softie of a grandpa. He lived for his wife, Pauline, and lives still through his children. He was too beautiful for this world, and goes now to a much better place. God speed. He was a member of the Sunny Lane United Methodist Church.
