J. A. Kilgore

Mr. J. A. Kilgore, 72, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, in the Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late Hughes and Martha Baynes Kilgore and was preceded in death by brothers, Julian Kilgore and Fincher Kilgore. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.

He is survived by his wife, Marcie Bandy Kilgore of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Kilgore of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Kay and Alan Brown of Athens, Ga.; and Lyn Kilgore of Dalton, Ga.; grandchildren, Daniel Baggett, Hannah Baggett, Andy Brown, Tucker Brown and Deanna Brown; sisters, Margie Gray of Chatsworth and Betty James of Dalton, Ga.; brothers, Conroy Kilgore of Summerville, S.C., Ed Kilgore of Bryson City and Norris Kilgore of Chatsworth and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth with Dr. J. Estill Jones and Dr. Jeff Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends Friday at Love Funeral Home in Dalton, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Chatsworth, 121 W. Market St., Chatsworth, GA 30705.
