David Nelson

David Nelson, 49, of Ironton, husband of Rebecca Lynn Hensley Nelson, died Tuesday in Ohio River Health Systems. 

He was employed with Howard Trucking Co. 

Also surviving are his mother, Mary Ellen Hensley Nelson of Eton, Ga.; two sons, Robert Nelson of Circleville and Harvey Lowry of Ironton; four daughters, Margie Nelson of Flatwoods, Ky.; Elizabeth Nelson of Circleville; Beth Nelson and Amanda Nelson, both of Ironton; four brothers, Clarence Eugene Nelson of Ocala, Fla.; Charles Robert Nelson of Logan; Ricky Allen Nelson of Greenup, Ky.; and Larry Wayne Nelson of Eton, Ga., and seven sisters, Margie Lou Johnson of Eton, Ga.; Nancy Kay Fisher of Logan; Mary Donita Hackworth of Argillite, Ky.; Barbara Ann Scarberry of Wildwood, Fla.; Kendra Lea Myers of Logan; Charlotte Maxine Hulett of Clifton Forge, W.Va.; and Sonda Sue Raby of Greenup, Ky. 

Funeral 1 p.m. Tuesday at Plum Grove Baptist Church burial in Plum Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
