Louise M. Rudder of Madison died Tuesday at Athens Convalescent Center.

She was a native of Chatsworth, Ga., and was retired from the U.S. Army as a civil servant. Mrs. Rudder was a member of Madison United Methodist Methodist Church.

Louise is survived by her husband of 26 years, Elbert Rudder; stepchildren, Tommy Rudder and Paula Rickeson; four step-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Wallace of Dalton, Ga.

Arrangements are being handled by Madison Chapel Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Friday. The funeral service will follow at noon. The Revs. Bobby Ray Halbrooks and Larry Wright will officiate. Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
