Luenette Brooks Starling

Luenette Brooks Starling, 89, of Bainbridge, Ga., died Saturday in Chatsworth, Ga.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at West Bainbridge Baptist Church, with burial at the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home in Bainbridge (912-246-4411).

A native of Houston County, Ala., she was a longtime resident of Decatur County, Ga. She was a homemaker and was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Nettie Sue Chason of Chatsworth; two sisters, Mary Kennedy and Martha Rogers, both of Bainbridge; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
