COLUMBUS, December 18. – The marriage of Zera Littlejohn Esq., and Miss
Minnie Shipp, of Cosseta, which took place on the 19th of November has
just been made public. Opposition of the bride’s parents was the cause
of keeping the marriage a secrecy.

Sunday morning Miss Florence Parker and G. C. Smith, of Columbus, were
united in marriage by Rev. H. J. Wood, at the home of Posey Bassett, in
LaGrange. After the wedding ceremony the couple left for their future
home in Columbus.

COLUMBUS, December 18. – Mr. E. T. Davis, a conductor on the Mobile and
Girard Railroad and Miss Lizzie Wilburn, of Brownsville, were married
last night.
