Smith, of Walton county, .Geo., to Miss Sarah A.McLaughlin Date: 1841-01-26; Paper: Macon Weekly Telegraph Macon Telegraph, 24 Dec. 1911 On Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock, occurred the marriage of Miss Lily Jackson and S. P. Speer of Covington, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Jackson, Rev. J. H. Wood, of Winder, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Speer left immediately in an automobile for Athens, to take a train for Atlanta. From there they will go to Covington, returning here for the Christmas holidays.
