Mrs. J.H. Bragg
Funeral Services for Mrs. J.H. Bragg, mother of two Dallas residents will be held Friday afternoon in Hawkinsville, Ga. Mrs. Bragg died Wednesday in a Hawkinsville hospital after a long illness She was 87. Survivors include a daughter and son from Dallas Mrs C.J. Nicholson and L.H. Bragg. Other Survivors are three sons J.T. Bragg of Hawkinsville, E.L. Bragg of Tulsa Okla. and Lowell Bragg of Cochran Ga. and two daughters, Mrs. P.R. Jackson of Talladega, Ala., and Mrs F.N. Mr. C. P. Brown of Pulaski County, died in the State Sanitarium at 10 o'clock Thursday night, and will be buried In Hawkinsvllle this morning. He was a brother of Capt. R. H. Brown, of this city, who will attend the funeral at Hawkinsville today, Mr. Brown was 65 years of age. He served in the Confederate army in Anderson's Battery by the side of his brother Capt. Brown. After the war he became a farmer, and lived principally on his farm until some years ago he was stricken with paralysis, which affected both his body and mind to that extent that he was taken to the sanitorium where he could receive every attention in the hope of restoration of mind. He leaves a wife and four children.
