According to the author, "Other" events include: advertisements,
tax lists, grand jury findings, notices of administration, executor's sales, local news items, deaths, marriages
and many other types of events.
Also, microfilm copies of the newspapers are supposed to be available for purchase from University of Georgia Libraries,
GA Newspaper Project, Athens, GA 30602. The author notes that several libraries in GA have copies of these early
papers also. From April 11, 1789 through April 1806, the paper was officially titled "The Augusta Chronicle
and Gazette of the State"
