Friendship, a village in the
northwest corner of Sumter
county, is not far from the Schley county line.
The population in 1900 was 62. It
has a money order postoffice and is a trading center for the
neighborhood.
Ellaville, on the Central of Georgia, is the
nearest railroad station.
