Arthur
E. Hart
Midville, Ga. - Arthur E Han, 58, of Rt-3 Midville, died Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Grove
Methodist Church with the Rev. C. E. Sego officiating, Burial will be
in the church cemetery.
A native of Telfair County. Ga., he was a farmer. He had lived in
Emanuel County several years.
Survivors Include his widow, Mrs. Bobbie Hart; six daughters. Mrs.
Zenoi Roberson, Swainsboro Ga., Mrs. Metral Nicholas, Chicago. III..
Mrs Rachel Outon. Adrian, Ga.. Mrs. Frances Wilcher, Wadley, Ga., and
Mrs Bernice Farrow and Miss Rosetta Hart, both of Midville; seven sons.
Arthur Hart, Millen, Ga., Willie E. Hart, Dublin, Ga.. Stanley Hart,
Adrian, Alfred Hart..Chicago, Stanford Hart. Danley Hart and John T.
Hart, all of Midville; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Hulett and Mrs.
Claude Giddons, both Of McRaie, Ga.; six brothers. Silas Hart, Jim
Hart, and Lester Hart. all of McRae, Lovett Hart. Otis Hart, both of
Brunswick, Ga., and Tom Hart, Greenville, N.C. Pallbearers will be Ray
Wilcher, Paul Moore. Joseph Clark. Esko Ellion, J. D. Henley, and
Raymond Farrow,
Friends may call at Peebles and Curry Funeral Home, Swainsboro.

Ogletree
John William Ogletree, of 1533 Capps St.. died Tuesday at his residence.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
He was a native of Crawfordville, but had lived in Augusta for 65
years. He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillian Reid Ogletree, Augusta; seven
sons, Vernon Allen Ogletree, W.J. Howard, and Curtis R. Cadden,
Augusta. Broadus L. Howard, Omaha, Neb., Samuel M. Howard, North
Augusta. John C. Howard. Concord, N.C., and Carol R. Howard, Riverside,
Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian P. Reid. Miami, Fla.. Mrs.
Savannah 0. Rutland. Burnettown, SC.. and Mrs. Evelyn 0 Brantley,
Salisbury. N.C.; and one sister. Mrs. Carrie Sparling. Tampa Fla.

ORA HINSON CURL.
Scotland, Feb. 1,—Mrs. Ora Hinson Curl, living near here, died Saturday
afternoon, She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Hinson, and was 18
years old at the time of her death, which followed an Illness of only a
few days.
The illness was not considered serious, but blood poisoning set in
suddenly. Although she was a member of the Methodist church, the
funeral was held at the Presbyterian church at Erick, Rev, Montgomery,
the pastor, and Rev. Hummers, a Methodist minister, officiating.
Interment followed In the cemetery at Erick.

Macon
Telegraph, 19 Jan. 1907
William J. Studstill, a prominent business man of Milan, died suddenly
last night on a Central of Georgia train as it slowly pulled into the
depot at Orchard Hill.
In company with his father, W. H. Studstill, and his physician, Dr. H.
S. Maloy, of Milan, he was en route to Atlanta to undergo treatment in
a private sanitarium for heart trouble and death overtook him when but
half-way to his destination of possible relief.
Mr. Studstill was thirty-one years of age, and leaves a wife and four
children, who reside at Milan. The body was brought to Macon and placed
in the hands of Jesse B. Hart for burial.

Hon. A. J. Cameron, of Cobbville, was found dead on the floor in his
store Tuesday, and it is supposed that he died from heart disease. He
had served as messenger of the state senate four about twenty years
continuously.

Macon Telegraph – 13 Feb. 1907
J. H. Ray, aged 60 years, of Helena, Ga., died yesterday afternoon at 3
o’clock at the Stewart Hotel, after a week’s illness. He was en route
to Cordele on business when overtaken by sickness in Macon.
He was born in Twiggs county, 1847, and was a Confederate soldier,
serving throughout the war. He leaves his wife, two sons and one
daughter, who were at his bedside when the end came.
The body was taken to Helena last night, where the funeral will take
place this afternoon at 4 o’clock from the residence of his daughter,
Mrs. S. R. Bullock.

MISS
ELIZABETH STALLWORTH,
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. A J Stallworth sympathize with
them in the loss or their only daughter, Minnie Elizabeth, who died at
an early hour yesterday morning at their home in East Macon. Besides
her parents the little girl is survived by two brothers, Wylie and
Julian. The little girl had been sick for three weeks. The body will be
taken to McRae, Ga. this morning at 11 o'clock for funeral and
interment.
