Luther, a post-village in the
southeastern part of Warren county, is not far from the McDuffie county
line.
The nearest railroad station is Dearing, on the main line of the
Georgia system. The population in 1900 was 49.

Mesena, a town in the eastern part
of Warren county, is on the Georgia railroad and in 1900 reported a
population of 124.
It has a money order postoffice, express and telegraph service, some
mercantile concerns, and docs considerable shipping.
