THOMAS H. ALBEA
Words of the death of Thomas H. Albea, aged 70 years, at Sandersville,
was received in Macon yesterday by his nephew, W. L. Albea. Mr. Albea
was formerly of Wilkes county and was widely known being a Confederate
Veteran. He had been planning with a great deal of pleasure to come to
the Macon reunion, and looked forward with much anticipation to the
time when he would be able to mingle with his comrades of the sixties.
He is survived by his wife,and three children, Lamar, Kathleen and
Donald Albea, the first two residing in Sandersvllle and the latter in
Atlanta. Misses Lamar and Kathleen are well known in Macon, being
graduates of the Wealeyan school of music. A brother and a sister, W.
B. Albea and .Mrs. E.W. Kendall, of Wilkes county, also survive.
The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the
residence in Sandersville.

Taylor, civic, farm leader, of Davisboro, dies
Davisboro, Ga.—T. Rabom Taylor, 60, died Tuesday In an Atlanta
hospital; "
The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Dayisboro Baptist
Church, with the Revs, Don Whitworth and John T Preston officiating.
Burial will be in Davisboro City Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was owner ana operator, of several farms and a dairy, member
and deacon of Davisboro Baptist Church member of Sandersville
Production Credit Association, Dairymen inc., the Board of Family and
Children Services, director of Farmers Mutual Exchange, and served on
the board of Washington County independent Schools. He was a member and
past master of Davisboro Masonic Lodge, a member of the York Rite
Bodies, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. T. Raborn Taylor; one son, T. Raborn
Taylor Jr.,. Davisboro; three. daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Moye and Mrs.
Jan- Withrow, Sandersville, Ga., and Mrs. Betty Prance, College Park,
Ga.; his mother, Mrs. Cynthia Taylor, Sandersville; one brother,
William Grady Taylor Jn, Davisboro; and four sisters. Mrs. Catherine
Dixson, North Augusta, Mrs. Doris Williams, Augusta, Mrs. Marjory
Mosley, Davtsboro, and Mrs. Sara Dukes, Bartow, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Gary Dixon, Clinton Williams, Bobby
Williams, Randy Mosley. Ralph "Buddy" Mosley Jr. and Tommy Dukes.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Davisboro Baptist Church and
friends.

Ga. - Mr. Louis Andrew "Coconut" Chapman, age 91, of 2355 Adams Road in
Sandersville died Monday August 3 in the Medical Center of Central
Georgia in Macon. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday
August 7 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with
burial in the Brownwood Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Military
Honors. The Rev. Larry Giles will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bill
Chapman, Michael Franklin, Marion Nelson, Lonnie Yates, Carey Franklin,
Chris Chapman, Ken Chapman, Greg Chapman and Michael Boatright. Mr.
Chapman was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia, the son of the late
Henry Chapman and the late Mattie Lou Chapman Altieri. He retired from
the United States Army with over twenty one years of active service. He
was a World War II veteran having participated in the Battle of the
Bulge. He received numerous accommodations and decorations including
service in three major campaigns during World War II. He was a member
of the Tennille Baptist Church. Mr. Chapman was a Master Mason of the
Hamilton Masonic Lodge #58 of Sandersville, a Scottish Rite Mason in
Macon, a York Rite Mason in Milledgeville and a member of the Order of
the Eastern Star in Sandersville. Mr. Chapman had over sixty years of
service as a Mason and over fifty years service as a Scottish Rite
Mason. He was the owner and operator of Riverside Hunting and Fishing
Club for over fifty years in Washington County. He was an avid
sportsman and conservationist. He was predeceased by his wife of sixty
eight years, Thelma Hodges Chapman and a grandson, Charles (Charlie)
Chapman. Survivors are his children, Teddie Louis Chapman and his wife
Gudrun of Marietta, Col Henry C. Chapman and his wife Shirley of
Tennille, Patricia C. Franklin-Ramage and her husband Doye of
Milledgeville, and David Morris Chapman and his wife Ida of
Sandersville, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, a niece,
Ellen Ireland of Brunswick, a nephew, James Smith of California and
several cousins. The family will receive friends at May and Smith
Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday

WILSON DIES AT DAVISBORO
Brother of Mrs. Barnes of Augusta.
Davisboro. Ga., Oct 18—Mr. James A. Wilson, a very prominent citizen of
Davisboro died last night at seven o'clock of rheumatism after several
months' Illness. His body was interred at Macon Ga. this afternoon. Mr.
Wilson leaves a wife and several relatives, among whom are a
sister.,Mrs. Barnes of Augusta, Ga.

Funeral of Mrs.
B. T. Rawlings
Sandersville, Ga., Oct. 18 – The funeral of Mrs. B. T. Rawlings took
place at 10 o’clock Monday from the family residence, “Belleview.” The
court house officials and the members of the bar were pallbearers. The
floral tributes were very beautiful. Ralph Rawlings, of St. Louis, Mo.,
and Fred Rawlings, of Johns Hopkins Medical college, arrived in time
