COBB-TULLIS
June 28 1914
On June 24 Miss Miran Cobb was married to Frank Tullis in Preston.
The wedding took place at the Baptist church at 2:30 p m. The
service was a pretty one.
The church was decorated with palms and ferns and lighted with wax
tapers.
Miss Ibbie Cobb, the bride's sister, was maid of honor.
The flower girls were little Alla Cobb, a young sister, and Sophia
McDaniel, a small cousin.
Howell Cobb gave his daughter away, There were only six attendants.
Rev. J. C. White performed the ceremony. The
bride was a very popular young lady, while Mr. Tullis a prosperous
young farmer of Webster county. As soon as the
ceremony was performed, the bride and groom started on a trip in their
car, Intending to go to Macon, Atlanta, Indian
Springs and other places. When they return they will live with the
groom's father about six miles from Preston.
