Springs, a post-hamlet of Whitfield county, is about ten miles
west of Dalton. Copeland, on the Central of Georgia railroad, is
the nearest station.

Kermit, a post-hamlet of
Whitfield county, is about five miles southeast of Cohutta, which is
the nearest railroad station.

Mills, a post-hamlet in the northern
part of Whitfield county, is about six miles east of Redclay, which is
