Young Couple Of Soda Springs Weds
Friday morning at 11:30 o'clock, Miss Alice Wood and
Loyd E. Thompson, were united in marriage by Bishop K.G. Ball, in
the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Wood. Those out of
town who attended the ceremony were: Mr. and Mrs. Howard Quigley and
son, Blaine of Cache Junction, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. John P.
Madsen, Jr., son Billy and daughter, Donna Mae of Gray, Idaho.
The bride was dressed in delicate blue. The room was
decorated with Christmas trimmings.
Immediately after the ceremony a delicious luncheon was
served.
Both the young people are well known in Soda Springs.
Miss Wood who received most of her education in the local schools,
graduated from high school with the class of '29.
Mr. Thompson, who is supervisor of music and instructor
in Science, has taught in Soda for several years. This happy couple
first became acquainted in the class room where Mr. Thompson was the
teacher and Miss Wood was a promising student.
The newly weds spent their honey-moon in Salt Lake
City, Utah.
