Louis Briggs COEUR D'ALENE, Sept. 10 - Louis Briggs, 54, died Saturday afternoon at
the family home north of Alan track. He had been a resident of that
community since 1922.
Surviving are his widow, Louise, and one son, Louis; two brothers and
one sister. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from
the Catholic church at Post Falls, with burial in the St. Thomas
cemetery at Coeur d'Alene.

Forrest E. Jemison Forrest E. Jemison,
62, retired Bunker Hill mine supervisor, died Friday at Kootenai
Memorial Hospital in Coeur d'Alene. He had been living in that area
since retiring in 1971. Jemison was born at Butte, Mont., was raised in
the Burke area and graduated from Kellogg High School with the class of
1931. He was employed by The Bunker Hill Company for many years
underground. Survivors are his wife, Ruby; one son, Charles E. Jemison,
Colville, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Karen Johnson, Coeur d'Alene; two
sisters, Mrs. Zella Readman, Pacific, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Bestrom,
Colville, Wash., and four grandchildren.

John Mullenax Dies
John Mullenax, who was connected with the Mullenax tragedy in Mica two
years ago when Mrs. Mullenax drowned her three children, died in Los
Angeles yesterday following an operation for appendicitis, according to
information received here today by Rev. P. J. Luvants of the Trinity
Lutheran Church, and the body will be shipped her for burial. Funeral
arrangements will be made later.

Mrs. Mullenax Dies at Coeur d'Alene Homes
Mrs. Mary Mullenax, 81 years, died this morning at Coeur d'Alene Homes
for the Aged after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held
Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the Homes chapel, Rev. Johnson
officiating and interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Cassedy's Funeral
Home has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Mullenax formerly lived near Mica
Bay. Her son, who was a resident of this city and of Mica, died several
years ago. No other relatives survive.

Clara Wilbur
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, April 18 - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara
Wilbur, 65, who died yesterday, will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at
the Yates-Morse funeral home.
Philip Schierman will officiate and burial will be in Restlawn memorial park.

E. A. King Drops Dead
E. A. King, proprietor of the Rex drug store for several years, dropped
dead this morning at his home, 719 Seventh. The body was taken to
Cassidy's funeral home and arrangements will be announced later.

PIONEER FARMER CALLED
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, Nov. 5 -- Simeon Curtis Rose, 75, farmer of the
Rathdrum pairie and Rimrock area for 51 years, died today at a hospital
here. He is survived by his widow, Anna, and one brother, Charles, in
China. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rathdrum.
