F.A. Gorham, Jr., Has No Knowledge as to his Own Identity.
Denver, April 26-Frederick A. Gorham Jr., the Payette, Idaho,
man, who arrived in Denver last Sunday with no recollection of his past life,
and no knowledge as to his identify left last night for Grand Rapids, Mich., the
home of his father. With him was Morris M. Davidson, of Grand Rapids, a brother
in law. Davidson said an attempt would be made to restore Gorham's memory by
hypnotism.

this week of Mr. and Mrs. P.H. Hoare at their home on Prospect street. They are
on their honeymoon, having been married in Payette October 5.

Schools Are Closed In Idaho Epidemic
Boise, Idaho, Nov. 1-All schools in Payette county were
ordered closed today and restrictions placed on public gatherings, by an order
issued by the county commis- appearance of infantile paralysis.
With approval of the state commissioner of public welfare,
schools will be closed for ten days to two weeks and children will be excluded
from public gatherings and, as much as possible confined to their own homes.

A.W. Blanchard, Payette, Idaho, about 60, was held pending word from relatives after bus company officials said, he had become mentally deranged on a bus, attempted to strangle a woman, indirectly caused a bus wreck and finally tried to commit suicide in Topeka.

OREGON POLICEMEN HUNTING BANDITS
La Grande, Ore., Oct. 18- Several squads of state policemen
late today were attempting to corner a girl and two unidentified robber suspects
one of whom this afternoon shot and probably fatally wounded Amos Helm, 30,
state policeman stationed here.
Helm and Captain Lee Noe of the state police approached the
men who were in a car at a local gasoline station, intending to arrest them. in
a second car, and apparently traveling with the men, was Arlene Woodhouse,
Payette, Idaho, police said.

The Weidner's will visit with John Blackburn and family in Payette, Idaho before continuing on to Yellowstone Park, and other points of interest in the west. They expect to be gone about three weeks.
