We have been adding data to Illinois Genealogy Trails website since 2000!
Starting out by providing data for the state of Illinois in March 2000,
our volunteers expanded to cover the whole United States in March 2006.

ALL DATA IS FREE TO VIEW!
and our sites are continuously adding more data.

We know that what you're looking for is data -- and we have LOTS of it right here.

Our hosts work continuously to bring you fresh, interesting and NEW data (well.... as new as hundred year old data can be!!!)

And yes, we spend a lot of time making sure our sites are "nice looking", which to us means that our sites are readable, easy to use and well-organized.  Unlike many sites out there, our sites are not just endless links to other websites.  So sit back, relax, and get out your reading specs, because we have actual data for you to view that will help you fill in your family brick walls.

If you're interested in just a specific county, you'll want to start at the
county pages

Our long list of Census transcriptions is
here

If you're looking for general Illinois info and data, our
state page and military data page have lots of good names and dates and interesting background history. Sit back, relax, and thumb through the thousands of webpages we have online.
And visit us often, because we are ALWAYS transcribing
new data.
