Lillian M.
Kincheloe, 103, of Good Samaritan Home in Quincy died Monday
(November 3, 2008) in Good Samaritan Home.
Born on May 3, 1905 in Montrose, Iowa, Lillian was a
daughter of Louis Lee and Ella Reeves LeMatty. She married Dwight N.
"Jack" Kincheloe on February 25, 1938 in Centerville, Iowa. He
preceded her in death on May 29, 1994.
Lillian was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.
Lillian was employed at Duker's Furniture and Clothing
Store and also Hudson's Clothing Store as an office manager. In the
1950's, Lillian and her husband Jack opened D N Kincheloe Painting
where she was the bookkeeper.
Lillian is survived by her nieces and caregivers, Joyce
Graham and her husband Bill of Quincy and Kathy Estabrook of Quincy,
along with many other nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a sister
in law, Virginia LeMatty of Montrose, Iowa.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband; three brothers, Reeves, Gene & Richard LeMatty; and six
sisters, Wanda Walford, Alta Norris, Cora Behrens, Zeta Selado,
Connie Reuther and Adelaide LeMatty.
Private graveside services will be held Friday morning
in Greenmount Cemetery with Rev. George Tomko officiating.
There will be no visitation. |
