Virgil Sherry, a young man living in Mendon, Adams county, was instantly killed, a few days since, by the accidental discharge of a gun which he held in his hand.

On Saturday the 12th inst., the wife of Mr. Thomas Gregory, of Quincy, was so horribly burned by a spark of fire falling on her dress, that she died in a few hours.

INQUEST
The Coroners Jury on the body of Mrs. Gregory, whose untimely death we noticed yesterday returned the following verdict: - We the undersigned summoned as a jury of the inquest to enquire the cause of the death of Letitia Gregory, wife of Thomas Gregory, do find that she came to her death by fire, communicated to her clothing in some manner unknown to the jury.
