Death Notices for 1872

Herleman, Nicholas

     At his residence, on State, between 13th and 15th streets, on Thursday, August 15th, Nicholas Herleman, is the 62nd year of his age. The funeral will take place Friday, August 16th at 2 o'clock p.m. Friends are invited to attend.

NW 1/4 - Section 14 - Melrose Twp., Adams Co., Il. Stone was removed by a relative. Nicholas lived in the old stone house which is now used as a shed by the present owners house. Nicholas died in the log cabin he built, which was donated to Quinsippi Island. The stone was located at the monument company in pieces and can not be repaired. There was no stone for Nicholas.
