Clifford McCarl, Nephew of County Judge, Married at Noon to Miss Gladys McTucker
Clifford McCarl, a well known young man from Barry, and a nephew of Judge Lyman McCarl, of the Adams county court, was married in this city at high noon today in the patronage of the Christian church to Miss Gladys McTucker of Barry; Rev. Darsie performing the ceremony. They will make their home in Barry, where the enterprising groom has furnished a cozy home.
The groom is the son of Levi McCarl of Barry, and is employed as mail carrier. He is an exemplary young man and highly respected by his friends. Miss McTucker, now Mrs. McCarl, is Mr. and Mrs. John McTucker’s daughter. The McTuckers are one of the most prominent Pike county families, and the bride is said to be a most estimable lady.
The couple took dinner today with Judge McCarl and family, and after a short visit in Quincy, will return to Barry.
