The following inscription is on the back of this picture:  "This isn't very good.  It was taken during high water 1927.  
The water was in front of Shaw house several feet from this picture.  N.H.G."  
N. H. G. was Guy's mother, Nora Gammon.  Guy adds that he never knew any Shaw house.
