This picture was taken in Elco about 1926 or 1927. Grandma Thompson, as she was called, is in her front yard in front of her snowball bush, holding her Bible before attending services at the Elco Methodist Church. Nancy Sharp was born May 10, 1846 and died May 1, 1934. She was first married to Thomas Brimm and later to Civil War Veteran John Thompson. She raised a family of nine children by the two husbands.
