LOOKING TOWARD THE BRIDGE

Guy writes, "First when you look in this picture you don't see a two-story structure or house just past the depot.  Notice my arrow, there were two of three houses or buildings.  The first one on right side (in pic 1-same as arrow in pic 2) was a two-story wooden structure (hotel or rooming house).  My first knowledge was Mrs. Lesar lived there.  She was very poor with three boys.  Hiram was one and "Jimee," my age.  Then later she and the boys were living in a tent on a vacant lot to the left of the drug store.  The oldest, Hiram, I was told did well in later life in the grain market--wheat, corn, etc.  He later cared for his mother.  Adjacent to this house was a stone block house that my folks lived in for a while.  At the lower left notice a small portion of a roof.  This was a pretty good sized barrel factory."
