A pitched battle was fought on the streets of Dalzell, Bureau county, between rival Italians. As result of the hostilities seven were wounded, two fatally.
The riot came as a conclusion of a celebration of the victory of Italy over the Turks and is the sequel of the old feud existing between the natives of Moderno and Bolonia, rival villages of Italy.
