Carl Ingersoll, 65, a lifetime resident of Hardin, died Tuesday morning at Jersey Community Hospital. He was born in Hardin on March 9, 1901, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Ingersoll. He was married to the former Mae Clyde, who survives him. Mr. Ingersoll was a construction worker. He was a member of Calhoun Lodge 793, A.F. and A. M. , and Labor Local 968. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ida Mae Blackwell of Fieldon; two sons, Ralph Jr. of fieldon and norman DAle of Maple Plains, Minn.; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Champlin of Hardin, Mrs. Grave Ritter of Wood River, Mrs. Ferol Thomure of St. Louis and Mrs. Florence collier of St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the C.C. Hanks Funeral Home in Hardin. Burial will be in the Hardin Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Anderson will officiate. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
