ALBERT H. WAGNER

Albert Wagner was born on December 30, 1894 at Tell City, Indiana, to Stephen and Wilhemina Surkamp Wagner of rural Tell City.

On June 30, 1920 he was married to Mabelle Todd, daughter of Samuel H. and Nellie D. Taylor Todd. She was born on January 24, 1898, at Milledgeville, Illinois.

Membership in following organizations: United Methodist Church, Veteran of World War I, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Masonic Lodge, Freeport Consistory, Order of Eastern Star.

Mr. Wagner helped to organize the Milledgeville State Bank; he served as its first president. He came to Milledgeville as a carpenter in 1915. In 1925, with his brother Ernest, he purchased a hardware store, Wagner Bros., until 1941. He was a salesman for Columbian Feeds until his death, October 12, 1964.

Children are Mrs. Rob (Lucille) Wagenknecht, rural Milledgeville, and a Foster daughter, Mrs. E. C. Ross of Crawfordsville, Indiana.
