Frank Lambert Wolfley, the son of James David & Mary Emma (Lambert) Wolfley,
was born in Lanark, Carroll Co. Illinois, April 16,1882 in Lanark IL.
Frank passed away October 24, 1971 in Davenport, Scott Co Iowa, at the age of 89.
On June 10, 1907, Savanna IL, Frank Lambert was married to Ada L. Engleking was born September 3, 1887 in Savanna,
Illinois, and passed away September 9,1970
also in Davenport Iowa, at the age 84.
Ada Louise Engleking was the daughter of Edward & Louise (Johns) Engleking
Frank and Ada had 4 daughters,
Luella Wolfley (married Owen Gardner) was born 18 July 1916, Carroll Co IL, who just recently passed away
on April 13, 2007. Luella is buried in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetary in Davenport, Iowa;
Edith Wolfley (Johnson was born about 1919;
Fern Marion Wolfley born about 23 February 1924 and died April 10, 2007, buried at the Savanna City Cemetery
on Highway 84, where Frank and Ada are also buried. Fern married John William McGee and later married a
Mr. Donald Stanley Snyder.
Frank & Ada also had one daughter who died when she
was 5 years of age. Her name was Francis Wolfley but we have no details on her birth or death.
