Many of the ancestors of Lori Buckwalter Gilbert now rest peacefully in the Center Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carroll Township, Carroll County IL. Lori traveled to Carroll County this year and brought back some pictures to share with us.

Willie Jasper Yenney was born 11 February 1873in Jo Daviess County IL, he died 05 June 1935 in Carroll County. Willie was the son of John Jasper Yenney & Diena Goodwin
The Yenney cabin burned to the ground in Carroll Co., IL. in 1900. They moved to Dodge Co., NE. by covered wagon. Lillie & Willie were married on the trip 'somewhere in Iowa'. They returned to Carroll Co after the birth of their 2nd child which occurred in May 1904.
