Three clips are mounted on the upper surface of the overlying strip and urged into gripping engagement with the fold of a newspaper by a nut and bolt arrangement. The clip is loosely mounted on the bolt so that it may be swung 90° to provide a guide for aligning the fold of the newspaper against an aligning edge and for temporarily retaining it in place while the other clips are being tightened.
