Samuel Corbett was born 26 October 1855 in Washington Township, Carroll County, Illinois. He died 30 January 1932 also in Savanna, Carroll County Ilinois. Samuel was the son of Samuel C. Corbett and Mary Sanderson. The father, Samuel C Corbett was born around 1830 in Ireland, he died 25 August 1872 in Carroll County and is buried at Mosquito Hill Cemetery. Mary Sanderson was born Feb. 1830.
Samuel Corbett was married to Myrtle Mae Davis, the daughter of John (Jumbo)
Davis Jr., and Mary Catherine Smith. Myrtle Mae Davis was born 13 May 1892 in
Woodland Twp., Carroll County, Illinois and died in April, 1984 in Savanna, Carroll
County, Illinois. Both Samuel and Myrtle are buried in Savanna Township Cemetery, Carroll County Illinois.
