Carroll avenue early today. Services will be held at the Eichmeier & Becker funeral home, West Stephenson street, at 3 p.m. Friday. Rev. James O'May will conduct the services and interment will be made in Lanark cemetery. Mr. Dambman was born near Milledgeville April 28, 1871, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dambman Sr. (father's obit - Henry and Anna Marie Peters are his parents) He farmed in Carroll county for a number of years and moved to Freeport five years ago. His wife died in September 1947. One daughter survives, Mrs. Ernest Holland, Freeport, There are also three sisters, Mrs. Rose Livengood, Milledgeville, Mrs. Emma Rahn, and Mrs. Anna Tallman, Lanark. Mrs. Agnes Dambman, 73, wife of William Dambman, died at the family home, 1010 South Carroll avenue, this morning.
THe daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Diehl, she was born in Carroll county in December, 1873. Her marriage to William Dambman took place in 1897. They resided in Carroll county until three years ago, when they moved to Freeport. She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Holland, Hammond, Ind. One sister also survives, Mrs. Emma Cheeseman, Shannon.
She was a member of First English Evangelical and Reformed church.
Funeral arrangements are being made at the Eichmeier - Becker funeral home, West Stephenson street.
