Samuel Adams,the well known Woodland Township farmer,was injured in an automobile accident in Savanna a week ago on Saturday. The latter part of the week he was reported as being barely alive.Monday he was a trifle better.He is kept under the influence of opiates nearly all the time on account of the excessive pain and is delirious. His principal injury was inflicted on the back of the neck,there being a cut from from one ear around to the opposite jaw bone.His left shoulder and one knee are also badly injured.
