MINER JILDERDA , age 66 of 21103 2900 North Avenue, Ohio Illinois died on Monday May 24, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He was born on September 5, 1943 at Wouterswoude, Friesland The Netherlands, the son of John and Henrietta Vriswyk Jilderda. Miner was united in Marriage to Margo Scudder on October 13, 1962 in Fulton, Illinois. He trained horses in the 60’s and 70’s, owned Miner Trucking for over 20 years. He presently was shop manager for Leone Polaris. He started his passion of racing snowmobiles in the 70’s and in the 80’s Hot Rod Tractor Pulling NITPA. He his survived by his wife, one daughter Julie (Randy) Berghammer of Markesan, Wisconsin; one son Jeffery (Kay) Jilderda of Spring Valley, Illinois; Three grandchildren James and Jordan Berghammer and Tiffany Jilderda; four brothers Fred (Shirley) Jilderda of Durand, Illinois, Joe (Sylvia) Jilderda of Mt. Carroll, Illinois, Tom (Marsha) Jilderda of Dixon, Illinois, and Mint (Carol) Jilderda of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one grandson Justin Carl and his parents. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 AM at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut Illinois with Rev. Paul Fritz of Argo Fay Methodist Church, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Daggert Cemetery in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 PM and 10 to 10:30 AM on Saturday at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut, Illinois
