OLD HOMES
Carroll County IL

Celia (Prufer) Gillogly (10 Jan. 1886 - 20 Oct 1974)
stands in front of her home in Washington Township.

She was married to Robert F. Gillogly.
Their children - Laura E. (married Fay Freed Christian) , Nettie, Grace (Byars) and brother Fred Gillogly were all raised here. Fred was very crafty; he made a violin out of old plowshare. The family has a cow bell he made, still rings a note of perfect “g” note.

Contributed from the memories of Paul Fay Christian
their great-grandson
