PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

We the School board of directors of District No. 3. Township 24, range 4, east of the 4th p.m. 
met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District on the 4th day of March 1897, for the purpose 
of hiring a teacher for the summer term and did agree to employ Grace sager of Mt. carroll as 
teacher at the rate of $22.00 per month, for a term of two months.

We the School board of directors of District No. 3. Township 24, range 4, east of the 4th p.m. 
met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District  on the 15th day of June 1897, for the 
purpose of hiring a teacher for the winter term, and did agree to employ Gertrude J. Smith of 
said district as teacher at the rate of $28.00 per month for a term of 4 months.

The voters of district no. 3 township  24, range 4 met at Pleasant Hill schoolhouse on April 15, 
1899 to put in one director to fill the place of Allan Nickels whose term has expired and put in 
George A.   Wolfley for the term of 3 years.

We the School board of directors of District No. 3. Township 24, range 4, east of the 4th p.m. 
met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District, met at the home of John Smith and on 
Saturday April 22, 1899 and pointed Georg Getz President and George A Wolfley clerk.

We the School board of directors of District No. 3. Township 24, range 4, east of the 4th p.m. 
met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District and levy tax at 175 dollars.

The voters of directors of District No. 3. Township 24, range 4, east of the 4th p.m. met in 
Pleasant Hill School house in said District met at the Plesant Hill school house on April 21, 
1900 to elect one director to fill the place of Geo. Getz whose time has expired and put in Geo. 
Fulrath for the term of 3 years.

We the School board of directors of District No. 3. Township 24, range 4, east of the 4th p.m. 
met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District met at Geo. H. Fulrath house in said district 
on the 30th day of July 1900 for the purpose of hiring a teacher for the winter term and did 
agreet to employ Mac Sellers of savanna as teacher at the rate of $30 per month for a term of 5 
months commencing Oct. 1st.

met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District met in said dis on the 8th of March 1901 to 
hire a techer for the summer term and did hire Grace M Burows of Savanna at 20 dollars per month, 
term of 2 months commencing March 11 1901

met in Pleasant Hill School house in said District met at the school house on April 20 1901 to 
elect one director to fill the place of John Smith whose time has expired and elected Geo Weidman 
for the term of three years.

At an appointed meeting at school house on the 6 of Feb. 1902 the board of directors of Dis. No. 
3 to hire a teacher for the term of 3 months  and contracted with Gertrude Smith at 22 per month 
commencing the 14th of Feb. 1902

At an appointed meeting helt at Pleasant Hill schooll  on the 19th day of April 1902 to elect 
Elmer Engelking for the term of 3 years

At a meeting in school house wood shed in March...  Eva Morris as teachere for 2 months 
commencing the 6 day of April 1903

At an election held April 18 1903 at the Plesant Hill school house John Smith was elected for 
a term of 3 years

At an appointed meeting we the directors of district 61 met and contracted with Eva Morris for 
a term of 7 months. 4 months at $30 per month and 3 months at $20 per month.

Appointed meeting at John Smith's home July 14 1904 we the board of directors contracted with 
Gertrude J. Smith for a term of 7 months $30 a mont for 5 months and $20 for 2 months

The voters of District No 61 township 24 range 4 east of the 4th P. Met at the Pleasant Hill 
schoolhouse on the 15th day of April 1905 for the purpose of electing a director for the term 
of three years.  E.J. Engelking was elected to succeed himself.

Alice Engelking for a term of seven months at $20 per month Aug. 25th 1906
