Alyn J. Miller to Peggy Popp
Miss Peggy Popp, daughter of John Popp, 215 W. South Street, Freeport was united in marriage, Saturday morning (Oct 11, 1947)
at 11 o'clock in the parsonage of Redeemer Lutheran Church to Alyn J. Miller, son of Mr and Mrs Jesse L. Miller of Shannon. The officiating minister was Rev CO.J. Chuth, pastor of the church who performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a green gabardine suit, brown accessories and a corsage of brown orchids. Miss Arline Miller and William Heinje of Shannon attended the couple. The bridesmaid wore a gray dress, black accessories and a gardenia corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller left on a honeymoon to Canada and will reside with the grooms parents.
The bride is employed by Fairbanks-Morse Company and the groom by Henney Motor company.
