
Margaret Jones of Savanna and C. Richter Marry on Anniversay. Mt. Carroll, Ill. Jan 2 (Special)
In a single ring ceremonay at 8:00 p.m. in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vere Hanna in Mt. Carroll, Miss Margaret Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neuman Jones of Savanna, and Carlyle Richter, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Richter of Mt. Carroll took nuptial vows before the Reverend J.H. Fetterolf, pastor of the Lutheran Church. Forty one yers ago at the same time the bride's parents were united in marriage. The bride wore royal blue satin and her corsage was of tea roses and blue sweet peas tied with silver and blue ribbon streamers. Her cap was silver sequins gathered to blue satin ribbons. Her only attendant, Miss Vera Schamberger of Mt. Carroll, wore blue taffeta and carried a small corsage bougquet of blue and white sweet peas. Both the bride and her attendant had silver accesories. Herbert Richter, a brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The bride's mother wore black crepe trimmed in velvet and a shoulder corsage of pink roses and sweet peas. The bridegroom's mother also wore black crepe and a shoulder corsage of sweet peas and roses. Preceding the ceremony miss Agness Schamberger, pianist, played. The processional was the "Bridal Chorus" from "Logengrin." A reception was held in the home following the cremony. The bridal party, the parents and Mrs. and Mrs. Vere Hanna, who are sister and brother-in-law of the bride, were seated at the table. Other guests who were relatives and close friends of the bride and bridegroom were seated at small tables decorated similarly to the large table."
