Frank Williams to Arlene Schreiner
Miss Arlene Schneider, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schneider of near Lanark, and Frank W. Williams son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellwood Williams of Chadwick, were united in marriage Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Clinton, Ia. The Rev. George W. Krueger, pastor of the Lutheran church performed the single ring ceremony. They were attended by Miss Mary Williams, sister of the groom; Miss Marian Schneider, sister of the bride; Kenneth Diehl and Glen Hartman.
The bride wore a gown of flowering black taffeta with matching accessories. Miss Williams was attired in a gown of midnight blue flowered crepe and Miss Schneider wore a dress of black silk crepe with gold trim. Following the ceremony the bridal party returned to the Schneider home where a 6 o'clock line dinner was served.
Mrs. Williams is a graduate of the Lanark Community high school in the class of 1935 and Mr. Williams graduated from Chadwick Community high school in the class of 1932. They. will make their home Lanak with the bride's parents for the present.
