Walter A. Woodin, the son of Hiram Woodin and Sarah Ann Jenkins was born 19 August 1864 in Eagle Point Township, Ogle County, Illinois. He was first married to Mary Catherine "Katie" Straub on the 5th of October 1891 in Carroll County, IL, license 3904. His second marriage was to Ardella Leona "Della" Hurless on the 15th of November 1894 also in Carroll County, IL, license 4385. He was married the third time to Honora "Nora" (Mitchell) on 9 October 1920 in Illinois. Nora is the widow of Isaac Franklin Hurless, Ardella’s brother. His fourth and final marriage was to Dora E. Dixon 18 March 1930 in Illinois. Walter died 26 January 1932 in Polo, Ogle County, IL and is buried in the South Elkhorn Cemetery, Carroll County, IL.
Ardella Leona "Della" Hurless, the daughter of Abner Ramage Hurless. and Elizabeth Kilmer was born 6 December 1871 in Genesee Township, Whiteside County, Illinois. She died 26 February 1920 in Eagle Point Township, Ogle County, IL and is also buried in South Elkhorn Cemetery, Carroll County, IL.
