Remarks:
Clark county in general is very healthy Except that Part bordering on the Wabash River where the People are considerably afflicted with Chills and Fever.  The Water mostly Limestone. The Land rich and productive.  Timber white and red Oak, Poplar, Cottonwood and Buckeye.  Excellent Limestone quarries in neighborhood of Marshall.
