Nettie Carrell's Autograph Book
Earliest Date 1871
Page In Autograph Book Front of Autograph Book Page In Autograph Book

I have the autograph book of my Great-grandmother, Nettie Carrell, who lived in Greenup and Timothy, Cumberland County in the 1880's, when she was young. She married David Spencer and had a son Luther Spencer and she married four more times after that! Just to put her history in place, her father was Samuel Sanford Carrell, Adam Columbus Carroll, and Bartholomew Carrol.

I was astounded to see the Plum school pictures because I recognized many of the names in her autograph book. I thought your site may want a copy of the book. I've attached pictures of the book, a transcript of the book, and a list of names appearing in the book. All the entries in the book are written in pencil and are very light. I have some pages scanned but it very hard to work with the book and it is falling apart. Rather than scanning each page, if someone reads a name and wants a scan of that page, they can email me and I will do my best to provide one.
