The school election at Lost Creek Saturday April 19, 1913 was quite different from last year.  The race began at 1pm with 2 new horses entered, James Brackow and Nick Chancelor. Everyone was invited to attend but it seems as tho' the party that go beat so badly last year didn't attend. They must be resting up for the next year. I know it seems nice to have things coming our way all the time and I warn some that didn't appear this year, not to be sure of anything unless you are sure it to be a fact.

There was no one went to stay all day for free lunch served on the ground but "Jimmie" did smile when the votes were counted. He having 17 and Nick 1. Afterwards was fine music by the Lost Creek Band.
