BANDY - COX

Charleston, ILl., Nov 11 - Mr. Bert Bandy of Brocton, Ill and Miss Lillian Cox of Perryville, Ky., came here Saturday afternoon and were married MOnday by the Rev. Mr. Kemp, pastor of the First M.E. Church.  It was believed at first that they were elopers, but the young woman declared she was 18.  They tried to secure a license in Edgar county, but failed. [The St. Louis Republic. KEMPER - MURPHY
At the store of Messrs L. Gatz & Son this, Tuesday morning by Rev. S. H. Shaw, Mr. Alexander Kemper and Miss Isabel Murphy both of Grandview township. Mssrs Gatz & Son furnished the groom with his wedding suit which he donned after their arrival, the bride waiting below; and also furnished the minister from their fashionable establishment. This is business.

Mr. Charley Link has lately been united in marriage to Miss Mamie Smith of West Union, Ills. Several other Links are about to marry handsome young ladies in Paris and we hear of several other Smiths who are on the matrimonial boat, among the number Mr. Jim Smith is mentioned.

SNYDER - HUSTON Wedding
A gayer or more brilliant assembly has seldom been seen in this city, than that which witnessed the nuptials of Mr. William Snyder and Miss Mattie Huston, on last Wednesday evening. The large and elegant residence of the parents of the fair bride was thronged by the elite of the city and vicinity. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. D. VanDeursen in his usual felicitous and appropriate style.
