The suit of Leach vs. Martin, in regard to the money belonging to the State, which was deposited in Mr. Martin's safe by Mr. Leach, as County Treasurer, some two or three years since, and which was stolen therefrom, was tried in the Effingham Circuit Court yesterday, resulting in Leach's favor.
