ROSE Cemetery is located in Denning Twp., Franklin Co IL.
Section 21, SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4.


Rose cemetery sets in the back of the old DAVIS farm. The cemetery is
a very old family plot on the edge of a field and no longer in use. The
cemetery was near the Cambon Lake on the east side of the property.
I have heard there are still tombstones there and you can read them.

To reach the cemetery travel west from West Frankfort toward
Zeigler until you reach Plumfield, about 4 miles, take a right
and go about 8/10 of a mile and you will seee a sign for the
Sunset Club(Cambon Lake Club). Take a right (east) and
the road forks("Y") at about 100yds, take the right branch
and go about 150 yards to the cemetery on the right.

Lindell KARNES now owns this part of the farm.
