R. W. Boyd, farmer. The gentleman here named is the
youngest son of John Boyd, a pioneer of this county. He was born
in Astoria in 1843; grew up amid pioneer associations and received a
good common-school education. In April, 1869, he was married to
Miss Anna B. English, daughter of John English, well-known boot and
shoe dealer of Astoria.
