Jesse Cramblet, barber, Ipava, son of William and Elizabeth C.,
was born in Ohio July 26, 33; his father died when he was young, and he
first became an engineer, and in 1862 enlisted in Co. D, 84th Ill.
Inf.; served 3 years; was in battles of Perryville, Buzzard Roost,
Franklin, Nashville and many others; was married in Ohio Oct. 6, 52, to
Elizabeth Chicken, who was born in Ohio Nov. 24, 1834.
